Relaxing and Tranquil Visit

The property is in a beautiful location, and the green all around is fantastic. The property is also well maintained, and the staff are very friendly.

The pool is beautiful, but quite cold. The breakfast is not good. This was strange considering how good the restaurant is at other times of the day.

Quality accommodation near the elephants and the long neck people

Very nice resort with large pool and very nice roomy villa. Nice open poolside restaurant. Great location for the elephants and the long neck people.

Resort area was very nice, and the room was big.

Not a lot off staff, and some were kinda cold (could be because we travelled off season) . Pool requires a little maintenance (lights not working, some tiles broken).

Nice hotel problematic kitchen other restaurants are fare away and the route is very dark to go there at night

A unique place in the midst of the jungle.

The location of the Hotel and the Rooms are marvelous, Room is located on the river with easy access! That was a huge plus. Room is huge and had a great fit for our family of 2+2. We were staying for 1 night on our way from Chaing Mai to Pai and it suited our needs perfect.

The pool curb stone was loose and could have easily harmed the kids. The location is full of mosquitoes, Phone in the room was not working to communicate with the reception. Restaurant is pricy.

Nice property and location. Excellent staff.

Excellent staff. Beautiful rooms and location (but a long way from the city). Great for exploring the areas outside Chiang Mai. The breakfast really was awful and let the rest of the hotel down.

Very poor breakfast. A buffet was laid out for very few guests. Food was not fresh or good quality. It would be far better if the hotel offered an a la carte breakfast - much less waste and better quality.

Wonderful

Amazing location, very good installation and fantastic employees.

The bar wasn't opened early morning and after 18:00h. It's very beautiful but not used at all.

A Gem with a perfect ambience except for the food, and kitchen staff.

The surroundings and nature were absolutely exquisite, and gave you the opportunity to unwind, by riding the bikes, or walking along the creek. JoJo In reception was absolutely amazing, and helped organise transport, he is a real asset to the resort.

I have to be honest the food and waiting staff did not match the overall experience of the rest of the resort. The food was absolutely below standard with both Thai and Foreign options. This needs to be addressed as it let down the complete experience of the resort. Staff to busy playing on their phones to clean tables, and to inform that they had run out of wine also when ordered. Fixing this area of the resort is absolutely necessary as the food was very bad.

Fabulous, boutique resort and amazing staff. Will stay again

Great staff (Mim at the front desk, Chai Restuarant Director, Pond at the front desk and Zar customer service) great breakfast/Lunch/Dinner!! A lovely zen experience. The coffee shop has a breathtaking view and great food. Must walk and see the grounds. Truly a lovely stay

Could have more bottled water in the room and turn down service in the evening.

Beautiful grounds. Huge pool. Lovely rooms. Excellent front desk staff. Good breakfast. Excellent cafe.

The resort has the potential to be an amazing retreat but fell short of the mark.

The scenary around the resort and the views from the resort are amazing. Very easy to walk into the hills and long the river. Amazing locals and the elephant nature park is just short drive down the road.

The property was very quiet, with almost a deserted feel. The outdoor spa pool was not filled with water and the bar in the centre of the swimming pools was never open and filled with sun loungers. The resort has the potential to be an amazing retreat but for the few days we stayed it fell short of the mark.

Nice Resort - seen better days

Accommodation was nice, location is good, restaurant was good in the evening but the breakfast service was below par. I am sure that when busier and fully staffed this place would be excellent, …but COVID seems to have caused some degradation

Dead Scorpion in the pool …actually the pool is obviously not being properly maintained, very murky with green scum on the walls

Lovely time!

We just wanted to stay in a quiet and natural setting to rest so it served its purpose. WiFi was great our daugtgers were able to do Homework and watch movies on Netflix. The pool was amazing. The natural environment was stunning, landscape was well done. Enjoyed walking around the property. The food was delicious but not much choice and abit overpriced.

Fitness equipment was rundown.

Overall loveky experience. Would definitely recommend as a place to experience beautiful Mae Taeng

Food was excellent. Good selection and delicious. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. Very peaceful - good place to enjoy the hills of Northern Thailand. Large property good to walk around and enjoy the gardens and listen to the river.

Air Con was quite noisy in the room. Bed was 2 single beds pushed together with no topper to cover the gap. Minimal equipment in kitchen. Few maintenance issues around property but appear to be in process of addressing them.
